Darkflow Software and Gaijin released Enlisted's "Off-road Patrol" update on September 29, 2026, on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. It adds light off-road vehicles to every army, new ray tracing options and reworked melee. A companion event, "Reinforcements received: Hit & Run", gives away two driver squads and stays live until October 24 at 13:00 UTC.
Off-road vehicles in every research tree
Each army now has new research squads built around off-road vehicles. They carry a machine gun and extra grenade boxes, so they work as both fire support and a supply run. MMOBomb lists the four research vehicles as the Soviet GAZ-64 DS-39, the German Kübelwagen 82, the Japanese Type 95 Kurogane and the American Willys M1919A4.
The most useful rule change applies to all of them:
- You can capture points from inside off-road vehicles and motorcycles without getting out.
- Off-road vehicles and motorcycles share one slot limit in your squad lineup.
The update also adds new premium squads: a Willys with extra armor and twin bazookas, a Kübelwagen 82 with a twin machine-gun mount, a Lend-Lease P-39Q-15 for the USSR and an Imperial Japanese Navy squad with an unusual rocket launcher. Japan also gets the G4M1 bomber, and the USA gets a Home Guard version of the Lewis gun.
Hit & Run event: two free driver squads
The event runs from September 29 to October 24 (13:00 UTC) in Squads mode. You earn battle score to complete tasks, which refresh every two days. Main rewards:
- Willys M2HB driver squad (USA, BR II): a jeep with a heavy machine gun, three soldiers.
- AS 42 driver squad (Germany, BR II): an Italian vehicle with a 20 mm cannon and three machine guns, five soldiers.
After server problems in the CIS region, Gaijin announced on October 12 that a patch would add an extra task worth 1,500 battle score. If you miss rewards, you can buy them for Gold from October 24 to October 26.

Better lighting and harder hits
On PC, the update adds path-traced global illumination, which bounces light around the scene for more natural shading. It needs DLSS Ray Reconstruction. A new ray tracing preset sets the best visuals your platform supports in one click.
Consoles get presets too. Xbox Series X and PS5 target 30 fps with ray-traced sun shadows, ambient occlusion and reflections. PS5 Pro adds dynamic shadows. Xbox Series S gets no ray tracing preset because it lacks the memory.
Combat changes include:
- New hit effects from large-caliber weapons, and shockwaves that throw nearby soldiers.
- New animations for bayonet charges, rifle-butt strikes, fist attacks and knives.
- Recoil control cut from 75% to 69% on many semi-automatic and automatic rifles, including the AVT-40, FG 42 and Gewehr 43.
Fixes since launch
- October 2 (0.7.8.58): Molotov smoke trails restored, reinforcement counter fixed.
- October 2: a bug reshuffled some players' squads. Gaijin could not restore the old order, so everyone who logged in by October 9 got a +50% XP booster for three battles.
- October 9 (0.7.6.62): fixes for buildable heavy machine guns that dealt no damage, wrecks that burned forever, a crash with HDR plus AMD frame generation, and flicker and freezes on Linux and Steam Deck.

The ninth Battle Pass season of 2026 started on September 30. Its main reward is the ZH-32 rifle for Japan. The Elite pass adds an Fw 190 A-4 "White 3" and a "Black Star" camouflage for the M10 GMC.
What's next
The key date is October 24: finish the Hit & Run tasks before then, or buy what you missed by October 26. New to the game? Our Enlisted beginner's guide explains squads and Battle Rating.
